Amharic Word of the Day: Thursday, Nov 26, 2009: Amesegenalehu

Welcome to Learn Amharic's Amharic Word of the Day where you can learn a new word in Amharic everyday. Because today is Thanksgiving, we thought it would be a good idea to share the word translation of "thank you" in Amharic. There are several ways to say "thank you" but the most widely used is Amesegenalehu, pronounced "Amäsäggänälehu." We hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving day and that you will come back tomorrow for a new Amharic word!
